HARDWOOD FLOORING
At Euro Stone America International we offer solid hardwood as well as engineered hardwood flooring. Hardwood flooring is durable and adds warmth to any space in the home.
Solid Hardwood
Solid hardwood flooring is made of solid wood all the way through and can be installed above grade only. It can be sanded and refinished up to three times and can be installed with glue or nails.
Engineered hardwood
Engineered hardwood flooring is made from a solid wood top layer and backing with a manufactured core and can be installed above or below grade. It can be sanded and refinished once and is available in either click-and-lock for quick floating installation or tongue-and-groove for either glue-down or nail-down installation.
Hardwood flooring MAINTENANCE
Hardwood floors can last a long time with proper maintenance. The most important thing is to regularly clean with a dust mop or vacuum with a floor-brush attachment to remove dirt, pet hair and dust that could scratch the surface. Remove grime and dirt buildup with a liquid wood cleaner following the manufacturer’s instructions. Be sure to wipe up liquid spills right away as moisture could damage the floors.
